Book Trailer – The Zanzibar Moon

Book Trailer for the Zanzibar Moon

Book trailers are a good promotional tool for your book. There’s so many kinds out there and choosing the style I wanted took some research. Book trailers can show the whole story of the book and can sometimes be as long as a movie. Other ones are a snippet, and others still don’t seem to have anything to actually do with the book. I just wanted to publicise The Zanzibar Moon in a fun way, but in a small bite.

People (often) don’t have huge attention spans online. They scan through and only look at the interesting stuff for moments at a time. Short and to the point is best. I hope you agree.

I found the awesome video template platform Raw Shorts to create the book trailer. It was lots of fun. I recommend you give it a go. Not just for book trailers but business promos of all sorts. I think I’ll create one for Mirror Pool Cleaning too.

It’s only 48 days until the launch of The Zanzibar Moon.

If you do not live on the Gold Coast (I can personally deliver on the Gold Coast) you can pre-order at THE BOOKSTORE (Australia only). Place your order and pay now and you will receive a free colourful tassel bookmark.

Books (with your complimentary bookmark) soon after they arrive from printing (I estimate early June) they will be posted out.

International buyers will be able to purchase the book as either eBook or Paperback once they are available on Amazon.

About donnadmunro

Donna Munro is an author, freelance writer, blogger, graphic artist, content writer, book marketer, administrator, web editor and book reader. She's been published in Take Five, The Australian Woman's Weekly, For Me, She, That's Life, Woman's Day and Club Life (as well as smaller publications). She recently formed Warm Witty Publishing to self publish her debut novel 'The Zanzibar Moon', because she's too impatient to wait any longer. Donna lives on the Gold Coast with her husband, youngest son and the weirdo Staffy Mahli. She adores being a grandmother but still feels young. She often joins her husband's pool cleaning business, just for fun (but is unsure if she's all that helpful). She keeps fit and has a fondness for elephants (she sponsors Tundani in Kenya) and owls. You'll often find her digging her toes in the sand while reading a novel at the beach.
