The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society book trailer – a must see for writers

The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society is a movie featuring a female writer. The romantic historical drama is set during World War II, during the Nazi occupation. A writer, a book club, romance, books and a harrowing, emotional setting; what more could a writer want in a movie? It’s a movie based on a New York Times bestseller by Mary Ann Shaffer and Annie Barrows. By the looks of the trailer, it may come close to as good as the book. I hope it does. I’ll let you know after I watch it.

Donna Munro is the author of The Zanzibar Moon and Kendwa's Secret, freelance writer, blogger, graphic designer, content writer, book marketer, administrator, web editor and book reader. She's been published in Take Five, The Australian Woman's Weekly, For Me, She, That's Life, Woman's Day and Club Life (as well as smaller publications). In 2017 she formed Warm Witty Publishing to self publish her debut novel 'The Zanzibar Moon'. She is a proud member of Romance Writers of Australia. Donna lives on the Sunshine Coast with her husband, youngest son and the weirdo Staffy Mahli. She adores being a grandmother but is young at heart. She's addicted to Peanut Butter, and Home & Away. She's a hugger and cries reading books and watching movies. You'll often find her digging her toes in the sand with a book in her hand.
