The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society is a movie featuring a female writer. The romantic historical drama is set during World War II, during the Nazi occupation. A writer, a book club, romance, books and a harrowing, emotional setting; what more could a writer want in a movie? It’s a movie based on a New York Times bestseller by Mary Ann Shaffer and Annie Barrows. By the looks of the trailer, it may come close to as good as the book. I hope it does. I’ll let you know after I watch it.
As most of you know, I’ve been working on The Chronicles of Almythea, a creation of Australian, Aaron J. Cootes. This remarkable project bands a collaborative group of talented people from all over the world. We’ve come together, under the direction of Lynn Santer, to create the new movie franchise ALMYTHEA.
