Hello Gorgeous Readers – are you ready?

Hi my gorgeous readers,

The latest newsletter has a fab new look. Are you ready to read about the upcoming release of Elephant Creek?

Here’s some of what you’ll read:

I have exciting news. Yes, the new book Elephant Creek is almost ready to send out Advance Review Copies to my editors and beta readers. Yay!

This means I will meet the deadline of March 25th for the release of Elephant Creek. It happens to be my anniversary too. Yep, I have my own love story (32 years of it in fact).

So, I’m introducing Noah Cooper. Okay, for those of you who’ve read The Zanzibar Moon and Kendwa’s Secret you may be thinking – what the – ?

In this stand-alone story of Noah and Emma I do conclude all things ‘Zanzibar Moon’ and here’s a secret – Noah Cooper is Kendwa’s brother (yep, Toby) and it’s complicated but it will all make sense when you read the book. I promise.

If you’d like to pre-order it would make my day and you’ll get a signed copy and new bookmark when they do. I may even have a competition.

Yours truly in love-stories, happiness and writing,

Donna

P.S. There will be more news about release dates, book launches and other events soon.

Day 34 to 37 of 365 Days of Gratitude

Day 34 to 37 of 365 Days of Gratitude

Currumbin Creek, Gold Coast, Queensland Australia
Currumbin Creek at low tide midday – summertime fun.

Day 34 I am grateful for:

Friday, because it’s the start of the weekend.

Day 35 I am grateful for:

Friends who pass on furniture, because we now have a single bed for when the grandkids stay. It started out as Tiarne’s bed, then it was Conner’s and now ours. I’ve given it a beach-wash white paint job and with a mattress and doona it will be ready for the spare room/office.

Day 36 I am grateful for:

Being able to live near beautiful Currumbin Creek, because today I enjoyed reading a book, lying on the sand, swimming in the warm crystal clear water and taking in the breathtaking scenery (see photo above). When I looked up I could see the trail of a jet  as it streamed above me, cutting a path in the cyan-blue sky.

Day 37 I am grateful for:

Last night gloriously colourful sunset, because it’s like the sky had been painted and the half-moon rose from the east so day could turn to night.Sunsets to moonlight Warm Witty Words

Did you see that sunset? What are you grateful for today?
