Happy book launch day – Having it all at Fifty Plus Innovation Edition

Though we are probably flooding (south-east Queensland is coping the tail end of Cyclone Debbie) it’s nice to wake up to an important email that has made my day. (Sometimes you just have to ignore the weather – okay I can’t really do that because this is serious. Stay safe people and ‘if it’s flooded forget it’).

Now on to my email and why I’m so happy.

I’ve collaborated with Lovely Silks Publishing and have contributed a chapter to Having it all at Fifty Plus Innovative Edition. If you scroll down on the home page you’ll see that I am the featured author and my chapter (Donna Munro from Warm Witty Words Shares a Sample Chapter) is the online sample. Now that’s something all authors aspire to. I’m so very grateful to Jacqueline and the team for this honour.

The chapter was a difficult one to write but I’m glad I did. As a writer you are vulnerable because you’re often baring your soul. I find that I keep a journal in my head and quite often it needs to be written. I make sense of the world this way.

I hope in doing this I give readers insights, motivation, inspiration, gratitude, ideas, encouragement, guidelines, compassion and new ways of thinking.

Having it all isn’t the same for everyone. You may want a new car or house, or you want to learn a craft, write a book, start a business or kiss a grandchild. Whatever ‘having it all’ means to you, it would be nice if we could all have it all at fifty plus.
